ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bills rookie receiver Robert Woods has even more reason to regret losing his cool and getting ejected against the Miami Dolphins last weekend. Woods told The Associated Press on Thursday he has been fined $15,000 by the NFL for punching Dolphins safety Reshad Jones. "I wasnt surprised, I was just waiting for when," Woods said, referring to the official notice he received from the league upon arriving for practice. The altercation occurred in the third quarter of Buffalos 19-0 win Sunday. Woods and Jones became tangled up during a running play and eventually wrestled each other to the ground. Woods was unhappy with how Jones threw him into a pile of players following the whistle. Jones was on one knee and had his back turned when Woods caught him with an uppercut across the facemask. Woods said earlier this week he regretted losing his cool, while adding hes learned his lesson. On the injury front, coach Doug Marrone has yet to determine whether rookie quarterback EJ Manuel will be ready to start Sunday, when Buffalo (6-9) closes its season at New England (11-4). Manuel was limited in practice for a second consecutive day and looked "improved," Marrone said. Manuel missed last weeks game because of a swollen left knee, which he hurt in a 27-20 win at Jacksonville the previous weekend. Backup Thad Lewis would make his second start and fifth of the season if Manuels not ready. Lewis was listed as practicing fully despite a sore left shoulder. Marrone is still factoring how stable Manuels knee is and whether he has enough mobility to run the offence. Buffalo has already been eliminated from playoff contention. The Bills do have a chance to win three straight for the first time since opening the 2011 season 3-0. With a 3-2 record against AFC East rivals, they have a chance to match their best record since the NFL realigned its divisions in 2002. A quarterback decision could come as early as Friday, after Marrone indicated he would prefer to choose his starter sooner than later. Safety Aaron Williams (ribs) did not practice, and is in jeopardy of missing his second straight game. Jose Rodriguez Jersey . - The infectious smile was missing from Nam Nguyen last week. Kevan Smith Jersey .ca. Kerry, I hope you address Ron MacLeans comment during the second intermission of Game 4 in Montreal-Tampa series. Basically, he suggested that the NHL should not have used a referee from Quebec, following the Game 3 disputed non-goal, because the referee could be biased towards Montreal.Weve spent all week covering the numerous storylines leading up to the 101st Grey Cup, from Kent Austin and Andy Fantuz returning to Saskatchewan in Black and Gold to the Roughriders looking to become the third straight team to win the championship at home. Those storylines however, mean little come Sunday when all that remains are two teams battling for the Grey Cup on a very, very cold field at Mosaic Stadium. The Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats finished the regular season just a game apart, with the Riders finishing second in the West with an 11-7 record and the Ticats second in the East at 10-8. From there each team took the long route to the Grey Cup, hosting and winning division Semi-Final matchups before pulling off upsets on the road in the Finals to book their Grey Cup tickets. The similarities dont end there, with each team led by electrifying running backs frequently featured on highlight reels and veteran quarterbacks with questions still left to answer. Both Darian Durant and Henrry Burris carry reputations of QBs who fade when the lights shine brightest.dddddddddddd Durant will be looking to finally put those questions to bed with his first Grey Cup win while Burris, who has previously won a Grey Cup as a starter, will be looking to cement his already stellar CFL legacy. The Roughriders were the team to beat in the first half of the regular season, winning eight of their first nine including their only two meetings with the Ticats, before running into some struggles in the second half. Conversely, Hamilton struggled early on until their defence found their stride down the regular season stretch and into the playoffs. The highs and lows are in the past now as each team heads into the Grey Cup at the top of their game. Saskatchewan will enjoy a decided home field advantage Sunday. Can it propel them to a win, keeping intact the streak of host teams winning the Grey Cup, or will the Ticats be partying like its 1999? Your! Call: Who will win the 101st Grey Cup on Sunday? ' ' '
