Four new Patek Philippe Nautilus watches, two with green dials When rumors began circulating about the possible demise of the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711, arguably the hottest watch on the planet today, the watch world held its collective breath. Rumors turned into fact when Patek Philippe CEO Thierry Stern confirmed that the legendary luxury sports watch would indeed be discontinued, but that didn't end the speculation and focus was on the product location in the directory. Today, the famed Genevan watchmaker launches four new Patek Philippe Nautilus watches, including two new branches on the 5711 family tree. Let's take a look at all four to see what's new.
Ref. 5711/1A-014 Nautilus This is the one we've been waiting for. The successor to the legendary blue dial 5711 will also be in steel, but now with a sunburst olive green dial. Rumor has it that the latest addition to the 5711 series will sport a green dial and be housed in a titanium case, so guessers were only half right, and it looks to fit the bill perfectly. Aside from the dial tone, nothing has changed on this watch, which is still powered by the caliber 26-330 SC that has been in the 5711 since 2019. Undoubtedly, finding this watch at a retailer can be equally challenging.
Reference number 5711/1300A-001 Nautilus Another green dial, but more sparkly. In this reference, Patek Philippe bends a usually ruthless rule: diamonds can only appear on precious metal watches. Just in time for international travel to reopen.
Reference No. 7118/1450R-001 Nautilus Fine Jewelry Finally, we have a new version of the women’s Nautilus watch featuring a diamond setting called “random pavé”. This is not the first time Patek Philippe has produced this dial in the women's Nautilus series, reference 7021/1R-001, with a diamond-set dial, but for 2021, the number of dials has been increased to 11 throughout the case, bracelet and The bezel adopts the same style. Suffice it to say, this is a serious statement.
